OUR STORY
The Islamic Coordinating Council of Victoria (ICCV) is a Not for Profit organisation established in 1992 by mosques and societies in Victoria, with its main purpose being to facilitate Halal food production making it easier for Muslim consumers in Australia and worldwide to purchase Halal food.
Today ICCV is the largest Halal certification organisation in Australia servicing clients across the country. ICCV is responsible for the certification, monitoring, and supervision of Halal food for the domestic market as well as the export market. Clients cover a range of sectors including abattoirs, food processing businesses, transportation and cold storage operators.
Servicing its large client base ICCV has a dedicated team of office staff, Halal Shariah advisors and Halal auditors. In addition, ICCV provides accreditation and supervision to more than 140 registered Halal slaughtermen, Halal supervisors and inspectors, playing a key role in Australia’s red meat export business to Halal importing countries.
ICCV is ready to serve any company anywhere in Australia that is interested in producing Halal products (meat and processed food) for the domestic market and the lucrative Halal export market.
